I have been grain free for two and a half years and have used many different grain free cookbooks. Lately, however, I have turned to following more of a keto diet. I was thrilled when Carolyn released this book. I have been following her blog for years and always had luck with her recipes. I had gotten busy with having littles and my ability to be creative in the kitchen had somewhat fallen to the wayside. This book has saved us from the dinner rut. I quickly went out and ordered her other books too. She has a gift!

Carolyn's keto recipes are amazingly simple, quick, and the whole family enjoys them, even the picky eaters. I cant even tell you how many times I have made the brie and broccoli frittata recipes for a quick easy meal. Best of all these recipes control my diabetes 2 and  feed my family
As an added bonus, I already have all or the majority of ingredients in my fridge, pantry or freezer.

Carolyn's cooking style matches my own family's preferred food choices so cooking for the family and myself has never been easier since she has done all the hard work figuring out the carbs.

Another feature I love are her notes covering serving suggestions, making the recipse faster, easier, and making the dish ahead- my personal favorite.

I have bought all her cookbooks and am anxiously awaiting her newest dessert cookbook coming out in July!

I have to say that there are very very few keto/low-carb cooks who consistently come up with tasty and uncomplicated recipes, but Carolyn Ketchum is one of them. Check out her website All Day I Dream About Food. I now own both of her cook books and it is SO NICE to be able to plan and shop for one of her recipes Knowing that they will be reliably tasty. (I have been known to eat the leftovers as breakfast!!)
If you are low carb or keto, give this book a try. I absolutely am convinced that you will be pleased.
And Carolyn, please hurry up with that dessert cookbook. We can't WAIT! :-)

I love this book, I am very fussy about my books, cookbooks in particular. I want a photo for each recipe and heavy, slick paper and a sturdy binding just to start with. This book has all that and wonderful recipes and more. Starts with information on pantry items to keep on hand, ingredient descriptions and clear instructions and good nutritional information. I will change check for more of her cookbooks.

I was really impressed by this book, because there are so many good quick dinner ideas! And I love that a lot of these recipes have a slow cooker method added to the page! Just tried the chiffon cake and it is suuuuuperrr delicious!! I'm on keto diet for months now and was dying for a good cake recipe without tasting the eggs. I put 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract instead of the 0.5 almond extract and it came out really delicious. Cant wait to try more recipes.
